How do you improve your financial literacy?

I still remember the days when I started earning money.

  • I had no clue what to do with my money.
  • Some people suggested taking LIC policy. They said - “It is a good investment.”
  • On the other side, I was getting calls from credit card companies offering me a free credit card.
  • I was even getting calls for the personal loan. They said - “Congratulations, you are eligible for a personal loan.”
  • Some of my friends started investing in the stock market.
  • Some suggested mutual funds.
I was totally confused!

I reached out to a few people. But even they were clueless about investment and money management. Then I came across an article on “Financial Freedom”. The author mentioned that financial freedom is a state where you don’t have to work for money anymore. You could still work but only for your passion. Not to earn money. It was a fascinating idea. Normally, people work for their entire life just to earn money. But what if you reach a state where you don’t have to work for money. So I decided - I don’t want to work for the rest of my life. I want to achieve financial freedom at an early age. For the next few years, I did a lot of research. I read many books, blogs, and watched a lot of videos. I also started writing on Quora. In this journey, I realized that most of the people lack financial knowledge. They had no idea about how to increase the income, how to optimize the expenses, how to invest the money, and how to manage the risk. Some of the common mistakes are:

  • Mixing insurance and investment.
  • Falling in the debt trap.
  • No idea of the power of compounding.
  • Investing in mutual funds and stocks based on tips.
  • Falling for Ponzi schemes.
  • No medical plan or term plan.
  • Becoming a victim of lifestyle inflation, etc.
I could not find a single book or course that focus on every aspect of money management including insurance, taxation, budgeting, stocks, mutual fund, etc. Hence, I decided to spread financial literacy. Over the past couple of years, I received 11+ million views on my Quora answer and 38,000+ followers. Finally, I have taken this initiative of spreading financial knowledge to the next level. I quit my well-paid job as a Data Analytics Consultant. It wasn’t an easy decision. But I knew one thing- Financial literacy is the need of the hour. Every year, many people commit suicide due to financial problems. Many people fall in financial traps and lose their lifetime of savings. Every person should learn how to manage money and avoid all financial mistakes. With years of research and hard work, I have curated a complete video course on money management.

Who should enroll for the course?
